110 European cultural networks’ joined letter on Culture and Recovery

Culture must play a fundamental role in Europe’s Recovery

The pan-European community of 110 cultural networks call on the EU and its Member States to place culture at the core of each and every recovery plan, which aims at a sustainable, inclusive and future-looking revival of our social and economic life. They call to earmark at least 2% of national Recovery & Resilience Facility budget to the Cultural and Creative industries and sectors.

The Federation of Screenwriters in Europe, in line with the letter from its president Carolin Otto sent to national governments in May 2020, co-signed this joined letter.
